Public Service Statement

"Citizens are our primary concern"

The land and resources of Québec are used for a broad range of economic, leisure and conservation purposes. In addition, various public, private, local and regional stakeholders are involved in the land and resource development process. An integrated management approach is therefore essential in reconciling these different uses and the interests of the parties concerned.

The gouvernement du Québec has pledged to strengthen its relationship with the general public and to provide quality services at the lowest possible cost in order to meet the public’s needs. The Department and its personnel will do everything they can to uphold these commitments and provide citizens with the best possible service in the natural resource and wildlife sectors.

First and foremost, the general public expects competency, compliance with deadlines and fair treatment. The Department and its personnel therefore pledge to meet these expectations by adopting an open and respectful attitude.
