Description
Whitish grey or blackish grey, fine-grained, cataclastic
and banded (straight gneiss) granoblastic paragneiss, associated
with the Kinonge-Labelle Shear Zone. The stone has been quarried
in Labelle, in the Laurentides Region, since 1992. It is used to
produce cobblestones for building retaining walls, fireplaces, and
patios.
