Description
Brownish pink, leucocratic, fine-grained granitic
gneiss. The stone has been quarried since 1980 in Saint-Donat-de-Montcalm,
in the Lanaudière Region. It is used to produce cobblestones,
patio stones, and flagstones and for building low walls.
