Description
Black anorthosite with veins of white or greenish
white feldspar, giving the stone the look of marble. In operation
since the beginning of 1990, the quarry is located north of Rivière-Pentecôte,
in the Côte-Nord Region. Uses for the stone include producing
cut-to-size panels, slabs, and tiles.
