Description
Porphyritic farsundite belonging to the Pikauba
Mangerite. The quarry, which has been in operation since the beginning
of 1990, is located south of Hébertville, in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean
Region. Uses for the stone include producing cut-to-size panels,
slabs, tiles, and curbstones.
