Description
Rosy brown, porphyritic farsundite belonging to
the Rivière-à-Pierre Suite. The quarry, which has
been in operation since the beginning of 1930, is located north
of Rivière-à-Pierre, in the Capitale-Nationale Region.
Uses for the stone include producing cut-to-size panels, slabs,
tiles, and curbstones.
