Description
Brownish grey, porphyritic farsundite belonging
to the Rivière-à-Pierre Suite. The quarry, which has
been in operation since 2002, is located north of Rivière-à-Pierre,
in the Capitale-Nationale Region. The stone is primarily used as
dimension stone, but also for producing landscaping stone, sawn
and calibrated flagstones, and curbstones.
