Porphyritic quartz mangerite belonging to the Saint-Didace
Massif. The quarry, which has been in operation since the end of
1960, is located in Saint-Alexis-des-Monts, in the Mauricie Region.
Uses for the stone include producing cut-to-size panels, slabs,
and tiles.
