Description
Porphyritic quartz mangerite belonging to the Rivière-à-Pierre
Suite. The stone is grey, slightly tinged with blue. The quarry,
which has been in operation since the middle of 2000, is located
north of Rivière-à-Pierre, in the Capitale-Nationale
Region. Uses for the stone include producing cut-to-size panels,
slabs, and tiles.
