Description
Porphyritic quartz mangerite. The quarry, which
has been in operation since the middle of 1970, is located northeast
of Saint-Thomas-Didyme, in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean Region.
The stone, available in rough blocks, is primarily used to produce
cut-to-size panels, slabs, tiles, and curbstones.
