Porphyritic quartz mangerite belonging to the Saint-Didace
Massif. The quarry, which has been in operation since the end of
1970, is located northeast of Saint-Didace, in the Lanaudière
Region. Uses for the stone include producing cut-to-size panels,
slabs, and tiles.
