Description

Rosy violet to beige orange, coarse-grained, porphyritic farsundite. The quarry, which has been in operation since 1990, is located south of Métabetchouan, in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean Region. Uses for the stone include producing cut-to-size panels, slabs, and tiles.
