Description
Granodiorite belonging to the Averill Pluton. The
quarry, which has been in operation since the beginning of 1890,
is located south of Coaticook, in the Estrie Region. The stone,
available in rough blocks, is used mainly to produce cut-to-size
panels, slabs, tiles, monuments, and curbstones.
