Description
Fossil-bearing limestone with a grey patina belonging
to the Deschambault Formation (Trenton Group). The stone is quarried
in Saint-Marc-des-Carrières, in the Capitale-Nationale Region.
Beds of stone are quarried near the surface to produce blocks and
flagstones used as landscaping stone.
