Description

Limestone breccia with reddish fragments, belonging to the Bonaventure Formation. Each polished sample of the marbled limestone breccia displays varied textures. Extracted from a quarry located east of Maria, in the Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine Region, since 2004, the violet marble is used to produce dimension stone (cut-to-size panels, slabs, tiles) and ornamental stone.
