Description
Grey quartz arenite with a yellow patina belonging
to the Cairnside Formation (Potsdam Group). Both quarries, which
have been in operation since 1958, are located in Havelock, in the
Montérégie Region. The stone's uses include producing
cut stones, flagstones, and cobblestones for the residential construction
market.
