Description
Bluish grey siltstone belonging to the Saint-Léon
Formation (Mont Wissick Group). The quarry, which has been in operation
since the 1980s, is located north of Mont-Lebel, in the Bas-Saint-Laurent
Region. The stone is mainly used for flagstones and paving stones,
cut stones for fireplaces, house facings, and retaining walls.
