Whitish grey quartz arenite belonging to the Cairnside
Formation (Potsdam Group). The quarry, which has been in operation
since 1958, is located in Mirabel, in the Laurentides Region. The
stone's uses include producing cut stones, flagstones, and cobblestones
for the residential construction market.
