Description
Red and white quartz arenite belonging to the Robitaille
Formation. The quarry, which has been in operation since 1965, is
located in Saint-Mathieu-de-Rioux, in the Bas-Saint-Laurent Region.
The stone's uses include producing flagstones and cobblestones.
