Map of the zones, fishing periods and catch limits

Québec is divided into 29 fishing zones which take the distribution of species into account. Anglers must respect the fishing rules that apply in these zones as well as the requirements pertaining to the territory that they wish to frequent.

The following table presents, for each of the zones, the fishing periods and the daily catch limits for fish of sport interest in Québec.

IMPORTANT

There are numerous exceptions to these fishing periods and to these catch limits. To learn about these exceptions, consult pages 26 to 77. For the national parks of Québec, zecs and wildlife sanctuaries, refer to pages 78 to 87.
