The gouvernement du Québec has chosen to grant more power to its regions. Its new integrated, regionalized management approach will allow the regions to play a leading role in the land and natural resource management process.

The innovative new management model gives the regions of Québec much greater autonomy in deciding on their choices and priorities, allowing them not only to manage their natural resources in their own way, but also to create conditions that will attract developmental projects.
